Such work particularly affects numerous sites located in protected areas in RNR, Natura 2000, or in spaces such as regional natural parks, without there being the slightest restoration of the sites in consultation with local authorities and management organizations. In the forest, the presence of protected areas requires taking all necessary precautions before carrying out forestry work. In order to prevent damage resulting from the circulation of logging machinery and logging trucks, a provision resulting from the law of October 13, 2014 requires departmental councils to develop an access plan to forest resources. However, the upstream and downstream findings during the declaration of work are almost never respected. Also, the MP asks the Minister what measures he is considering to prevent such damage, the irreversibility of which has serious consequences. She also asks him what he intends to do to strengthen the existing legislative framework and prescribe the implementation of rigorous management plans imposing the preservation of forest soils as an essential condition for any form of forestry exploitation, including and especially in protected areas.
