In 2019, the Ministry of Ecological Transition launched the low-carbon label to offer certification of reductions in greenhouse gas emissions or carbon sequestration and thus reassure financiers individuals and professionals. Many Miyawaki mini-forests benefit from 100-year protection thanks to the signing of a real environmental obligation (ORE), thus giving more guarantees to operators working on municipal land.
