Summary

The plan to combat violence against children 2020-2022 provided in measure 6 for the deployment of a pediatric reception unit for children in danger per department (UAPED) by 2022. In April 2023, there were: - 77 UAPEDs in place - 59 UAPEDs planned - and 4 departments remain to be covered (Martinique, Guyana, Indre and Alpes-de-Haute-Provence) Concerning the reinforcement of resources, the Government aims to have a UAPED by jurisdiction, in addition to the current long-term credits renewed every year which made it possible to cover one UAPED per department.
