The ES series, of which it is the pivotal discipline, has undeniably participated in the democratization of high school by welcoming a third of general baccalaureate holders, who present a particularly varied social recruitment and benefit from diversified opportunities and good success rates in higher education. Economic and social sciences should be a constituent element of the common culture by being offered to every high school student. Absent from middle school and compulsory education in first and final year, it appears necessary to give them sufficient space in second year class. Today, in second general and technological classes, economic and social sciences are not are not part of common lessons but exploration lessons (high school students must choose two lessons including one on economics of 1 hour 30). He would like to know the Government's intentions regarding this discipline which deserves to be integrated into the common core of the general and technological second year class, for a schedule of 3 hours per week.
