Summary
Mr. Quentin Bataillon draws the attention of the Minister of Health and Prevention to the recognition by France of the European masseur-physiotherapist diploma obtained by many French students at the Maltese school UCM (United Campus of Malta), before it lost its accreditation. These students can attest to the validity of 240 ECTS, corresponding to 4 years of training, the course of which was established according to of the European directive and associated requirements. They should therefore be eligible for European Directive No. 2005/36/EC relating to the recognition of professional qualifications, as is the case in other European Union countries. However, following erroneous information transmitted by France to the Maltese authorities, this directive could not be issued by the Council of Complementary Professions to the medicine (CPCM) and their diploma has therefore not yet been recognized on French territory. These former students, who graduated several years ago, are therefore unable to practice their profession. Thus, recognition by France of the validity of the masseur-physiotherapist diploma obtained within the Maltese UCM school before it loses its accreditation is envisaged in order to obtain the directive requested by France? If this is impossible, he asks him if an authorization to practice in France following obtaining the masseur-physiotherapist diploma obtained within the Maltese UCM school before it loses its accreditation is considered.
