Chemical hypersensitivity syndrome, despite the etiopathogenic research devoted to it, remains medically unexplained. The people concerned can be supported by the occupational pathology consultation centers (CCPP). Currently, the 32 CCPPs are united within the national network for vigilance and prevention of occupational pathologies (RNV3P), a national network of medical experts who systematically and standardizedly identifies all occupational health problems giving rise to a consultation in one of these CCPPs. This network's main purpose is to detect unknown links between health and work but has also developed expertise in health issues linked to the environment in general. The national agency for food, environmental and occupational health safety (ANSES) in has been coordinating since 2006. Furthermore, expertise on electro-hypersensitivity is currently being carried out within ANSES. The pre-report of the expert work was made available for public consultation from July 28 to September 30, 2016 on the agency's website. The observations made are currently being examined by the group of experts in charge of the work. The final report and the agency's opinion should be published in 2018. This work relating to electromagnetic fields could then be supplemented by work on chemical hypersensitivity.
