Summary

On the bases defined by article 119 of law no. 2016-41 of January 26, 2016 to modernize our health system, the establishment of advanced practice will allow non-medical health professionals to be entrusted with expanded responsibilities by completing the overall care offer. Work has been launched to build the advanced practice model, which will initially concern the nursing profession, with as an objective, the entry into training of the first professionals from the start of the 2018 academic year. The implementing regulatory texts, in particular a decree in the Council of State defining the conditions of practice and the rules relating to advanced nursing practice as well as the decree creating the state diploma in advanced practice nursing, were published in the official journal of July 19, 2018.    Sur les bases définies par article 119 de la loi no 2016-41 du 26 janvier 2016 de modernisation de notre système de santé, l'instauration de la pratique avancée permettra à des professionnels de santé non médicaux de se voir confier des responsabilités élargies en complétant l'offre de soins globale. Des travaux ont été lancés pour construire le modèle de la pratique avancée, qui concernera dans un premier temps la profession d'infirmier, avec comme objectif, l'entrée en formation des premiers professionnels dès la rentrée universitaire 2018. Les textes réglementaires d'application, en particulier un décret en Conseil d'État définissant les conditions d'exercice et les règles relatives à la pratique avancée infirmière ainsi que le décret créant le diplôme d'État d'infirmier en pratique avancée, ont été publiés au journal officiel du 19 juillet 2018. L'exercice par des professionnels paramédicaux de compétences habituellement dévolues aux médecins est un des axes du plan d'accès aux soins et constitue une innovation majeure qui facilitera l'accès aux soins pour certains patients atteints de pathologies chroniques.
