Summary

M. Yannick Haury interroge M. le ministre de l'agriculture et de l'alimentation sur la fin de l'autorisation de la mise en marché du cuivre en viticulture. La Commission européenne ne semble pas favorable à la ré-homologation du cuivre comme substance active utilisable en agriculture. Les vignerons sont inquiets de cette décision. En effet, le cuivre est essentiel à la production viticole pour lutter contre le mildiou notamment dans l'agriculture biologique où il n'y a pas d'alternative à ce traitement actuellement. Il est d'ailleurs important de pouvoir développer d'autres méthodes pour remplacer l'usage du cuivre en viticulture à l'avenir. Il souhaite donc connaître la position du Gouvernement quant à l'utilisation du cuivre en viticulture et aux solutions de remplacement.
