Ms. Sandrine Runel draws the attention of the Minister to the Minister of Regional Planning and Decentralization, responsible for housing, to the worsening of child homelessness in France. In order to make this objective effective, the MP requests the inclusion, in the finance bill for 2026, of credits making it possible to secure the existing stock and to create at least 10,000 additional places, including 1,000 dedicated to pregnant women or women leaving maternity leave, as well as the implementation of a multi-year accommodation and housing program including the production of 200,000 social housing units per year, including 60,000 very social ones, in accordance with the recommendations of the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child. Furthermore, the MP calls for funding and deployment of a national “poorly housed children” plan, at least up to the commitments of the Solidarity Pact, in order to guarantee the immediate and unconditional shelter of all children and to respond sustainably to the needs of families.
