On the sidelines of the dynamic of developing the law, taking into account, on the one hand, the transfer of information on training and professions to the regions and, on the other hand, the commitment of staff as close as possible to students, an evolution of territorial coverage of CIOs is envisaged. While respecting the legal obligation (article L. 313-4 of the education code) to maintain at least one public orientation center in each department, a reflection on the evolution of the CIO map must be carried out with the regions.
