Summary
Western States National Trail Act of 1987 - Amends the National Trails System Act to establish the Western States Pioneer Express National Historic Trail in California. Permits the continuance of certain endurance and competitive events in the Granite Chief Wilderness in California. Establishes the Tahoe Rim National Scenic Trail in California and Nevada. Directs the Secretary of Agriculture to make an equestrian staging center available along the Tahoe Rim Trail. Authorizes appropriations.
