Prosecution Drug Treatment Alternative to Prison Act of 2000 - Amends the Omnibus Crime Control and Safe Streets Act of 1968 to authorize the Attorney General to make grants to State or local prosecutors for the purpose of developing, implementing, or expanding drug treatment alternative to prison programs. Sets forth provisions regarding permissible uses of grant funds, the Federal cost share (75 percent), program and application requirements, geographic distribution of grant awards, reports, and evaluations.
