Inhalt: Ratifizierung des am 8.2.1987 völkerrechtlich in Kraft getretenen Übereinkommens: Festlegung von Schutzanforderungen beim internationalen Transport von Kernmaterial, Verpflichtung zur internationalen Zusammenarbeit im Falle der Entwendung oder der Drohung mit einer Entwendung von Kernmaterial, nationale und internationale Verfolgung von Straftaten im Zusammenhang mit Kernmaterial. Den öffentlichen Haushalten entstehen keine Kosten. Änderungen aufgrund der Ausschußempfehlung: Anwendung der §§ 311d und 328 sowie Änderung § 126 Strafgesetzbuch betr. strafbare Handlungen beim Umgang mit Kernmaterial.
