Summary
Eelnõu näeb ette kehtestada Eestis mandaatide ühitamatuse põhimõte, mille kohaselt uus omandatud mandaat tühistab eelneva mandaadi ehk kui Riigikogu liige osutub valituks kohaliku omavalitsuse volikokku, siis tühistub Riigikogu mandaat ja vastupidi. Riigikogu liikmel on vastavalt eelnõule õigus valida, kumba mandaati ta kasutab.
