Summary
Eelnõu eesmärk on toetada sündimust, vähendades majanduslikke motiive järgnevate laste sünni edasi lükkamiseks, samuti väikelastega perede paremat toimetulekut ja heaolu. Seletuskirja kohaselt tagatakse, et laste järjestikuse sünni korral ei jää lapsevanemad vanemahüvitise määramisel kõrvale tööturul toimuvast palgakasvust. Eelnõu paragrahviga 1 täiendatakse perehüvitiste seaduse paragrahvi 43 lõikega 3 ja sätestatakse, et laste järjestikuste sündide puhul suurendatakse vanemahüvitist keskmise palga kasvu võrra.
