Summary

The Environmental Commission initiated the draft law amending the Atmospheric Air Protection Act (AÕKS) due to the urgent need to supplement the procedure for the use of the auction proceeds from the trading of permitted emission units and to add a provision in the law that the decision to reclaim support given on the basis of trading schemes created to mitigate climate change is an enforcement document. The proposed clarification and the possibility of concluding administrative contracts ensure the use of auction proceeds.
