Summary
Mrs. Sandrine Josso draws the attention of the Minister of the Interior to the maintenance of the CRS system - lifeguards (CRS-MNS) for the 2019 season. Indeed, 62 municipalities benefited in 2018 from the reinforcement of the CRS-MNS for the surveillance of their beaches during the 2018 summer season in order to ensure the security of users but also to put an end to the offenses that may be observed. The CRS-MNS system is an instrument of “seasonal reinforcement” for law enforcement deployed in vacation spots during the summer season. The decision taken in 2016 by the General Directorate of the National Police (DGPN) aimed at arming the CRS-MNS illustrates the need to secure beaches with police officers specialized in beach policing missions. The coastal studies group of the National Assembly has initiated work on this subject and was able to appreciate the benefit of maintaining this system deployed since 1981 as well as the need for its renewal. Thus, he questions him in order to know his intentions on maintaining the CRS-MNS system for the 2019 season.
