Thus, many traditional driving schools offer two solutions to their customers, an intense course of three days of lessons (24 hours in total) with a teacher present during these 24 hours. This course costs more, but allows you to address a lot of rules to better prepare the student for the road. These same driving schools sometimes also offer the code online (subcontracted to the publisher Code Rousseau for example), but students who choose this formula unfortunately waste a lot of time in driving lessons when certain specific points are covered. So, when some sell a “revolutionary session” 45 minutes of driving + 15 minutes of video, traditional driving schools offer real hours of driving with personalized assessment and “homework” videos to consult in addition. These 45-minute lessons are sold for 37 euros by one of these “online driving schools” or, when compared to the hourly cost, 50 euros per hour, which is one of the most expensive hourly prices on the market. He therefore wishes to know what the Government intends to do to avoid that false promises do not develop on the driving school market, that we guarantee the permanence over time of a real local network which will have premises easily accessible by students as is the case today with traditional driving schools which are present throughout France and which guarantee an effective territorial network in the interest of citizens who seek proximity and true quality of service, especially since, we must never forget, what is ultimately at stake is also road safety and, consequently, the true protection of all citizens.
