Summary

Mr. Dominique Potier draws the attention of the Minister of State, Minister for Ecological and Inclusive Transition, to the free installation of remote displays for precarious households as part of the installation of Linky meters. Initially planned by the law relating to the energy transition and for green growth, the deployment of the remote display is not yet a reality for the French while the deadline of January 1, 2019, although already postponed for a year, has expired. The ministry has not in fact issued the orders to cover the costs of the suppliers who will distribute it. In the meantime, precarious consumers still do not benefit from this display which should allow them to better control their energy consumption and thus obtain gains in purchasing power. Its implementation is demanded by several actors such as such as the UFC-Que Choisir, the Environment and Energy Management Agency, the National Energy Mediator and the Court of Auditors, who consider that it is an essential tool for controlling household energy consumption. While purchasing power and the energy transition were among the recurring themes addressed during the Great National Debate, he asked it to please indicate which the Government's intentions in order to accelerate the implementation of this essential tool for the most precarious consumers.
