Mr. Jean-Yves Bonnefoy draws the attention of the Minister of Labor and Solidarity to the situation of workers recognized as disabled, whose activity bonus amount has been greatly reduced, or even eliminated. Since January 1, 2025, the disability pension is no longer assimilated to professional income in the calculation of the activity bonus. This modification results in a significant loss of income for these workers. and difficult to understand, even though they maintain a professional activity despite the constraints linked to their state of health. A transitional measure, applicable until December 31, 2024, allowed beneficiaries to continue to receive the activity bonus and the disability bonus. Due to the terms of quarterly calculation of rights, some retained the benefit of the bonus until the beginning of 2026, before suffer a sudden withdrawal of this additional income. This new method of calculation appears to contradict the objectives pursued by the activity bonus as well as the shared desire to support the professional inclusion of people with disabilities. The disability pension is not an advantage: it compensates for the consequences of the disability on daily life and on the ability to work. Removing sound assimilation penalizes those who work despite their limitations and discourages continued employment. Also, he asks what measures the Government intends to implement to compensate for this loss of income for the workers concerned, to guarantee that resumption or retention in employment are not penalized by the current methods of calculating the activity bonus and if it is considering the establishment of a compensatory measure to avoid increased precariousness of disabled people.
