Summary
Eelnõu näeb ette moodustada Riigikogu uurimiskomisjon Venemaa Föderatsiooni mõjutustegevuse, selle rahastamise viiside, seotuse Eesti avaliku sektoriga, propagandaprojektide ning nendega kaasnevate riskide süstemaatiliseks väljaselgitamiseks ja analüüsimiseks. Seletuskirjas märgitakse, et Venemaa mõjutustegevus Eestis on osa laiemast strateegiast, mis püüab nõrgestada Eesti riigi julgeolekut ja vastupanuvõimet, sihib Eesti venekeelset elanikkonda ja ühiskondlikku sidusust ning levitab Eesti riiki ja liitlasi kahjustavaid narratiive. Komisjoni moodustamisel lähtutakse samast põhimõttest, mis on kokku lepitud Riigikogu erikomisjonide moodustamisel. See tähendab, et koalitsiooni ja opositsiooni esindajad on tasakaalus. Sellest tulenevalt on koalitsioonifraktsioonidel kummalgi 2 kohta ja opositsioonifraktsioonidel 1 koht komisjonis.
