Summary
Eelnõu näeb ette moodustada Riigikogu uurimiskomisjon politseijuhtide kriminaalmenetluse ja sellele eelnenud Kaitsepolitseiameti tegevuse õigusriigi põhimõtetele vastavuse uurimiseks. Komisjon moodustatakse fraktsioonide võrdse esindatuse printsiibist lähtudes selliselt, et iga fraktsioon määrab sinna ühe esindaja. Komisjoni ülesandeks on selgitada välja ja anda hinnang, kas Elmar Vaherile, Eerik Heldnale ja Aivar Alaverele süüdistuse esitamine ja selle kaitsmine läbi kolme kohtuastme oli õiglane ning kooskõlas õigusriigi põhimõtetega.
