Après l’article L. 3314‑2 du code des transports il est inséré un article L. 3314‑2-1 ainsi rédigé : «  Art. L. 3314‑2-1 . – Afin d’assurer la continuité du service public, l’accès à l’emploi de conducteur de transport en commun et sa professionnalisation sont encouragés. Pour les services de moins de 50 kilomètres, les âges minimaux pour l’obtention de la qualification initiale mentionnée aux articles R. 3314‑2 et R. 3314‑3 du code des transports et de la formation initiale minimale obligatoire mentionnée à l’article R. 3314‑5 sont abaissés conformément à la règlementation européenne. »
