Summary

Le chapitre unique du titre V du livre V du code de la construction et de l’habitation est complété par un article L. 551‑2 ainsi rédigé : « Art. L. 551‑2. – Les logements respectent des dimensions minimales de hauteur sous plafond, de surface habitable et de volume habitable : « 1° Le logement dispose d’au moins une pièce principale ayant une surface habitable au moins égale à 9 mètres carrés et présente un volume habitable au moins égal à 20 mètres cubes. « 2° Les pièces de vie et de service du logement ont une hauteur sous plafond suffisante et continue pour la surface exigée permettant son occupation sans risque. Une hauteur sous plafond égale ou supérieure à 2,20 mètres est suffisante. Les locaux dont la hauteur sous plafond est inférieure à 2,20 mètres sont impropres à l’habitation. « La surface habitable et le volume habitable sont déterminés conformément aux dispositions des deuxième et troisième alinéas de l’article R. 156‑1 du code de la construction et de l’habitation. ».
