Après le cinquième alinéa de l’article 34 de la Constitution, il est inséré un alinéa ainsi rédigé : « La loi fixe les règles visant à protéger les biens communs et l’habitabilité de la terre en définissant notamment le crime d’écocide qui se caractérise par un haut degré d’atteinte porté à l’environnement et aux écosystèmes. »
