L. 1111‑12‑1 . – I. – Le suicide assisté consiste à autoriser et à accompagner une personne qui en a exprimé la demande à recourir à une substance létale, dans les conditions et selon les modalités prévues aux articles L. 1111‑12‑2 à L. 1111‑12‑7, afin qu’elle se l’administre. Lorsqu’elle n’est pas physiquement en mesure d’y procéder, l’euthanasie consiste à la lui faire administrer par un médecin ou par un infirmier. »
