Le chapitre I er du titre I er du livre V du code de la sécurité intérieure est complété une section 6 ainsi rédigée : « Section 6 « Encadrement de l’usage des fichiers « Art. L. 511‑8 – La convention de coordination des interventions de la police municipale et des forces de sécurité de l’État prévue à l’article L. 512‑6 permet aux agents de police municipale agréés et assermentés d’accéder directement aux fichiers suivants : « 1° Des personnes recherchées ; « 2° Des objets et véhicules signalés ; « 3° Des véhicules assurés ; « 4° D’immatriculation des véhicules ; « 5° Du système national des permis de conduire. »
